2012 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SNOWMOBILE DERBY
ON LINE ENTRY IS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE.
ALL SNO-CROSS ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY JANUARY 17th, 2012
$10.00 per class for insurance has already been added. Drivers need to sign in by 5:00 pm the night before they race. Excluding the Friday night races you can sign in by noon on Friday
Each class will have its own numbers. Use our online entry page to enter all races. Oval, Sno-Cross and Vintage, www.derbytrack.com
All oval and Sno-cross entries must be received and paid by Tuesday, January 17th by 5:00 pm.
All late entries will be charged an additional $50.00 per driver. There will be no exception to this rule. Please read the 2012 schedule and make your plans accordingly. We want everyone to be able to race so make sure you get your entries in on time. Don't forget to enter any classes that you are eligible for. Friday night will be completely separate classes with qualifying specifically for Friday night (with separate pay outs and awards).
When sending in entries, do not send to your organization. No entry will be considered if it is not fully completed with all information and paid for in full by deadline. No entry will be accepted without Social Security number. (Engine and chassis numbers can be supplied at check in.)
Each registered driver will receive a pit pass for himself. (Excluding Kitty Kat and 120's). Additional pit passes can be purchased in registration for $65.00 each. Pit passes are valid for gate admission to the spectator area. You must be 14 years of age or older to be in the pits. All minors must have a signed release on file in the registration office. If you are a junior rider or 120/300/Kitty Kat racer under the age of 14, you must have your parent or guardian with you at all times.
Pit passes will ONLY be issued from the Derby Registration Office. The pit passes are numbered and coded to the authorizing driver. If a pit pass is found that has been cut or otherwise tampered with, it will be confiscated, and the driver, under whose name the pass was issued, will be disqualified from further racing. We do not like to be this rigid, but the consequences to our ability to buy insurance depend on the strict enforcement of having signed waivers, in our records.
Four Wheelers and ATV's! There will be no four wheelers or ATV's in the pits! You may have someone drop you off at the pit entrance but they cannot enter the pits. ATV and pit bikes! Do not cross Highway 45 to the west and stay off Pleasure Island Road across from the school. You will get a ticket. Please do not park them outside the back pit exit as we cannot block the road and need to keep it clear in case of emergency for ambulance entrance and departure.
The American Snowmobile Competition is the sanctioning organization at the 2012 Derby. All OSRF, SCM, USSA, ORA, Eastern Pro Tour, MIRA, ISOC and any other ISR recognized organization memberships will also be honored at the Derby.
SNO-CROSS Race Number's! This is very important. It will be done on a first come first serve basis. When you enter on line you will type in your number. If it takes the number you are in. If it kick's you back you will have to add a letter or change your number and try again. This is the only way that we can keep Bib numbers from all the different organizations from having the same number on the track.
Trophies & Awards for Derby weekend: All trophies (awarded 1st-3rd), jackets (presented by Cold Wave) and checkered flags presented to every class winner). After official results, awards for all winners of Thursday, Friday and Saturday races must be picked up at the Remote office in the house in front of the BIG RED BARN just out side the gate at the north end of the track between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm each day. Please do not come before 3:00pm.
All Derby Sunday class winners must pick up awards at the Awards Banquet in the DERBY EXPO Hall. (120's & 300's) excluded. Bar will open by 4:00 pm. Banquet will start at 5:30 pm; awards ceremony will begin at 7:00 pm sharp and last about two hours. Please come and talk to your sponsors and the sponsors of the Derby and give them the recognition they deserve for helping us bring this great race to you.

SNO CROSS 2012 Practice at the Amsoil World Championship Snowmobile Derby Thursday January 19th will be a practice day from 8 am to 3:30 pm. You will have to have your sled safety teched on Wednesday or Thursday morning. There will be a lot of sleds to get teched so if you want to hit the track right at 8 am we suggest getting your sled teched on Wednesday. The sleds will go out on the ice in groups of five by class; Stock, Sprint, Champ. ect. There will be a $25.00 charge per class and you can run as many sleds as you want that fit the class. Sno Cross will run during track grooming. Drivers, be aware that the schedule will be followed as closely as possible; so when you are scheduled to be on the track have your sled(s) in the paddock and ready to go. All practice entries must be done online at the Derby web site and the cut off for practice registration will be the same as cut off for race registration, there will be no late registration for practice. All sleds must be pre tech'd before going on the track for practice and you must check in at registration for credentials. If for any weather related cancelation of testing all monies will be refunded at driver check in at registration.
PARKING for SNO-CROSS RACERS: Again this year your pit area will be behind the "Big Red Barn" This worked out great last year! PARKING ON PLEASURE ISLAND ROAD IS BY RESERVATION ONLY! You will see that there is only one entry form with the Friday Night Thunder Classes on it. Don't forget to enter any classes that you are eligible for.
*VERY IMPORTANT INFORMAION*
